Polegate is the nearest station for us and it's on the main London Victoria to Ashford Line. You can join trains for Polegate from London Victoria, Lewes, Brighton, Eastbourne and Ashford International.
The full route can be seen on Google Maps by clicking this link.
Exit out the station via the main ticket hall on Platform 2. From there, turn right and head into the left hand car park marked 2 1/2 hour free shoppers parking. Don't go into the long, thin, Southern Rail car park as it's a dead end. At the back of that car park is a small alleyway that cuts through to the residential streets. The route is shown on green in the first aerial photo below:
Follow Porters Way, staying right at any forks, until you come to a dead end turning circle. There's as a gap in the wall that will take you through to the car park of the McColls convenience store.
From there, follow the main road (Pevensey Road) to the right and keep following the main road for around 10 minutes till you hit a mini roundabout. Take the 2nd exit to Jubilee Drive. You will pass between two little brick walls with a plaque reading "The Mill".
Carry on down Jubilee Drive for 150m and take the first right onto Highgrove Crescent. Stay right at the fork to stay on Highgrove Crescent till you come to a red brick T-Junction. Head towards the houses behind the parked cars and grassy area then turn left, towards the row of 3 terraces houses and a small courtyard area. We're to the right of that terrace, tucked back.
Our house is marked with the blue arrow in the aerial photo below.
